Influence = in-fluence, ie. flowing in

yet another beautiful example of the meaning in and behind the words that we take for granted or don’t quite comprehend. As signposts, words serve a tremendous purpose but it is important to keep the attention on the reality they are pointing to rather than staring at the sign (word) in the hope of direction. It reminds me of our beloved Tessie, a boxer (dog) we had when I was young. I would point to show her something she might be wanting to chase but instead of looking in the direction I hoped, she stared intently at my pointing hand.

Anyway, back to the signpost of the day; Influence. Who wouldn’t want in-fluence?
